Worcester's history of 'being a mucky place'

IT’S no consolation for the current residents of Worcester’s Diglis Avenue, where my late grandfather lived for most of his life and died peacefully in his bed, that their complaints of river flooding depositing sewage in their back gardens are nothing new.
